The flavour profile is complicated, I received what seems to be a very light medium-dark roast, and needed to experiment with various extraction protocols to achieve what the other reviewers were raving about. The sweet spot for me was a ~6 minute french press extraction. Any less, and the flavour wouldn't come out, any more would yield a muddy, acidic, overextracted cup. But get it just right, and you will have a flowery, chocolatey smooth cup of pretty strong joe. This is a fine bean that rewards patience. Review edited to reflect findings.
