Clearly roasted! I was pleasantly surprised by how fresh this coffee powder felt. The beans were clearly roasted recently—you can smell the rich aroma the moment you open the pack. Most VFM coffee. Support Local! Great taste, good smell, perfect blend and affordable price. I compared many before buying this and I am very happy with my decision. This will be my go to coffee for years to come.Also it feels good to support our local farmers by buying local brand instead of buying those heavily advertised international brands that offer just the same, or sometimes worser products, at multi-fold prices than this.

Finally got what I was looking for I am using this product for my french press. I should say its the right coarse grind, Great coffee ... rightly roasted. The smell and taste does keep up the promise.

Delicate flavour that grows on you The beans look good, the roast is even, and the aroma also indicates freshness. The flavour profile is complicated, I received what seems to be a very light medium-dark roast, and needed to experiment with various extraction protocols to achieve what the other reviewers were raving about. The sweet spot for me was a ~6 minute french press extraction. Any less, and the flavour wouldn't come out, any more would yield a muddy, acidic, overextracted cup. But get it just right, and you will have a flowery, chocolatey smooth cup of pretty strong joe. This is a fine bean that rewards patience. Review edited to reflect findings.
